The Ms. & Mrs. Debonair (“pageant”) is a hunt for talent that takes place only online. It is put on by the India Fashion Project (“IFP”) to honor women who are pushing for a more progressive society.
By entering the pageant, you (the “you” or “participant”) agree to follow the rules (the “Terms”). These rules are as follows:
1.Criteria for Eligibility and Submission:
1.1
In order to participate in the pageant, each participant shall be required to register on the microsite-https://indiafashionproject.com/pageant-registration/ (“Microsite”) created for the purpose of registration.
1.2
To be able to take part in the pageant, you must meet the requirements listed below, and by doing so, you show that:

You are a female by birth
1.2.2
You are Unmarried for Ms Debonair | Married for Mrs Debonair Title
1.2.3
You are between 16(sixteen) and 30(thirty) years of age and shall produce a valid certificate as age proof for participating in Ms. Debonair’s title. You are between 21(twenty-one) years and 45(forty-five) years of age and shall produce a valid certificate as age proof for participating in Mrs Debonair’s title
1.2.4
You are an Indian by birth and have a valid passport to that effect to qualify for the Pageant
1.2.5
All registration information that is submitted by You is truthful and accurate and You will, at all times, maintain the accuracy of such information
1.3
To be eligible for the pageant, you should be able to sign contracts that are legally binding.
1.4
IFP has the right to add any participant to the list of nominees for the pageant through a “wild card” round, and you have no right to complain or make a claim about this.
1.5
The IFP’s decision about who can participate and what the other submission and selection criteria are will be final and binding on everyone. No questions will be taken about IFP’s decision, and neither a participant nor anyone else or anything else will have any claims in this area.
1.6
The participants will have to send IFP partner/sponsor videos about their product whenever IFP asks for them and as long as they follow the brand guidelines. The participants will have to create content in the form of photos and/or videos to support the pageant and spread the word about it when IFP tells them to. Furthermore, the participants and winner(s) will collaborate to create whatever content IFP and its partners require. Also, the Challenge Round winners will make specific content for the IFP brand.
2. Categories and the Process of Selection
2.1
IFP will pick the top 100(hundred) participants from each state from the entries on the microsite and post their Intro Videos on the microsite and their social media accounts.
2.2
All state top 100(hundred) participants will go through a public round
2.3
Based on public voting top 20(twenty) candidates will get shortlisted for state finales
2.4
The Grand Finale Round (“Finale”) shall be preceded by 5 (five) challenge rounds in the beauty, food, fashion styling, and personal talent categories (“Challenge Round”) and fundraising ( for our charity partner), wherein the shortlisted top20 (twenty) participants from each state would be given a challenge each week and each contestant would be required to complete the same on their own and without any outside help and upload a video of duration not less than 3 (three) minutes of them completing the challenge in the stipulated timeline (“Submissions”). As part of each Challenge Round, the participants are required to upload the video on their social media handles using the hashtag #MsDebonair or #Mrsdebonair and on the microsite. Also, if there is any kind of integration, the participants will have to use the products and say what brand they are, as required by IFP.
2.5
In each Challenge Round, the best in that category will be recognized, and the winner of each round will be named and given one of the following titles:

Ms & Mrs Beauty Expert: Winner of Beauty Round
2.5.2
Ms & Mrs Chef: Winner of the Chef / Food Round
2.5.3
Ms. & Mrs Fashionista: Winner of the Fashion Styling Round
2.5.4
Ms & Mrs Talented: Winner of The Talent Round
2.5.5
Ms & Mrs Social: Winner Of Fundraising Round
2.6
The points from each challenge round will be added together to make a final score. Winners from each state will be invited to the finale based on this score. The points leaderboard will be updated on a real-time basis by IFP. Each week, the participants’ points will be added up based on the Challenge Round, and then everyone will move on to the next Challenge Round/Finale. After completion of the five (5)) challenge rounds, the state winners shall proceed to the finale to compete for the title of Ms and Mrs Debonair.
2.7
In the final round, the state finalist will be questioned by the jury. Based on the competition, the jury will choose the top three (three) candidates, and they will also choose the winner. based on the finalists’ performances.
2.8
The IFP management shall have the right and freedom to throw out any votes that it thinks are fake, have been tampered with, or are not real. In this case, the IFP’s management will make the final decision, which everyone must follow.
3. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY:
3.1
IFP is the sole and exclusive copyright owner of the pageant. Also, IFP owns all copyrights, trademarks, service marks, logos, trade names, trade dress, and other intellectual and proprietary rights related to the pageant, the intro video, the submissions, and any content you send to IFP, as well as any content that is part of the pageant and is shown on it. This is true everywhere and forever. IFP says that the pageant was created, compiled, prepared, revised, chosen, and arranged by IFP using methods and standards of judgment that were created and used with a lot of time, effort, and money. IFP says that the pageant is its valuable intellectual property.
3.2
You agree that IFP has the right to use in any way the Intro Video, the Submissions and the content displayed in them, registration data, photographs, shoots, product pictures, profiles, brands, etc., and any other content submitted by the participant to IFP (“Content”). Further, IFP shall have the right to use the said content inter alia for sharing it with the brands sponsoring the pageant; for promotion of IFP’s forthcoming events, exhibitions, conferences, and trade fairs at various places; for marketing the products and services of itself or its clients; and for any other promotional activities or otherwise as considered fit by Also, the participant agrees to protect IFP from any liability that may come up as a result of using the content for any reason. This includes, but is not limited to, claims, demands, notices, suits, or proceedings made, served, started, or pending by or against IFP or any person or organization with whom IFP shares such content.
3.3
You represent and warrant that the content submitted by you is original and accurate and shall not be offensive, defamatory, inflammatory, or inciting and shall not infringe on any third party’s intellectual property. Moreover, you represent and warrant that the content submitted by you shall not be false, fraudulent, or forged. You are solely responsible for any notices of infringement or other legal actions or claims about any content that are sent to or received by IFP, and you fully protect IFP from any such claims or actions. IFP is not responsible for any of the content you send, and it is not required to check any of the content you send for originality, truthfulness, accuracy, or compliance with any promises, warranties, or laws that apply. IFP will take strong legal action against any participant who sends in fake content, information, proof, or incorrect credentials.
4. INDEMNITY:
4.1
The participant must make sure that the content of the Intro Video, the Submissions, and the content that is part of them and shown in them, as well as the registration data, photographs, shoots, product pictures, profiles, brands, etc. that are submitted for the pageant, are not immoral, obscene, or indecent and are worth sharing in the public domain. IFP is in no way responsible for the content that is sent in for the pageant, and any liability that comes from that content is the sole responsibility of the participant who sent it in. The participants agree to protect IFP from any claims that could be made about the content and/or how it is used.
5. MODIFICATION/ALTERATION:
5.1
IFP has the right to change, modify, or cancel the pageant and the rules without giving a reason or notice, and the participants have no rights in this case.
6. NOTICE AND COMMUNICATION
6.1
All communications directed towards IFP shall be addressed to beautypageant@indiafashionproject.com
7. RESPONSIBILITY AND FORCE MAJEURE
7.1
IFP won’t be held responsible for anything that has to do with the display, exhibition, or internet sites. This includes, but isn’t limited to, outages, downtime, server and network problems, and other things that could affect the microsite, the broadcast, the display, or the way the pageant works in any way.
7.2
IFP will not be responsible to any participant if it can’t hold the pageant or follow any of the rules listed here for any reason, including acts of God, wars, blockades, hostilities, civil disturbances, riots, strikes, lock-outs, epidemics, pandemics, or large-scale sanitary crises, fire, storm, flood, judgments or orders of any court of law, acts of terrorism, embargo, any “force majeure” events, government
8. GOVERNANCE AND JURISDICTION RULES:
8.1
The Pageant and the Terms will be ruled by and interpreted according to the laws of India, and only the courts in Delhi will be able to make decisions about them.
